Plato’s Cave 2.0 isn't breeding better citizens

We live in a fully inter-connected world but the potential wisdom brought forth by generalized access to all kinds of content is far from accomplished. Rather than promote peace, access to information (most of which "simplified" information) is fostering gross polarizations around the globe.

It doesn't have to be that way

The first step towards improvement is understanding the problems, a goal towards which I must give my humble contribution. In this blog, I write about society, technology, data and how they interact. Some texts might be philosophical. Others might be technical. You have been warned about both dangers and might want to close the tab before it is too late.
